Parasite were a Swedish heavy metal band formed in 1981, that disbanded just few years later. However, their same titled debut 12″ EP stood the test of time, and gained a cult status within a genre as one of the best releases of the ’80s. It is often listed in one line with the classics recorded by acts such as Europe, Universe, Silver Mountain or Heavy Load. Now, the mini album is officially reissued for the first time ever on CD, and includes 5 previously unreleased bonus tracks.
