Breaking Benjamin, Chevelle and Three Days Grace Announce Summer 2019 Tour

As this article’s headline says, Breaking Benjamin, Chevelle and Three Days Grace have announced a summer U.S. tour for 2019. Dates for that are available below. Much Bud Light will be drank.

This news is also of interest to MetalSucks readers for a reason independent of those bands themselves, however.

Concert promoter Live Nation, you may recall, announced a few weeks ago that their “Ticket to Rock” program would return this summer, offering hard rock / metal fans the chance to buy tickets to three (or in some cases four) concerts in one fell swoop at discounted prices. A number of bands and cities/venues were listed as being part of that promotion but the individual tour lineups and dates were not.

Subsequently, a source reported that four of the bands on that list — Slipknot, Volbeat, Behemoth and Goira — would be touring together. With Breaking Benjamin, Chevelle and Three Days Grace now officially off the board — all were originally on Jacob’s list (bonus points if you get that reference) — the lineup for that Slipknot-headlined tour suddenly looks way more likely to be confirmed. Alice in Chains, Korn and Underoath are the other bands on the list, so presumably we’ll see that lineup announced soon, too.
