When you press play on “Organosydic Holocaust,” you can find elements of Vale of Pnath’s own brand of technical death metal as well as Allegaeon’s melodic riffs. Although both influences can be heard, the results are ultimately heavier. The track starts with a Carcass-esque intro that’ll get you head-banging in a hurry, but twelve seconds in a face-melting guitar solo comes at you with a hard left hook straight to the face. At this point, your only options are to turn up the damn volume and go banana sandwich for the rest of the song. Ape-like behavior welcome.
Vale of Pnath’s first release in nearly three years, Accursed, is set to come out on May 17 and you can stream their newest single here. If you’d like to be serenaded by Allegaeon, their new effort Apoptosis will come out on April 19 via Metal Blade and you can catch a taste of it here.
Grab the rest of Organosyde’s debut digitally on February 25th from Spotify, iTunes, or other music retailers. If you’re down to support your artists, purchase a physical copy by pre-ordering here. Stream “Organosydic Holocaust” below.
