iMeg: Megadeth’s “Last Rites” Pops Up in New iPhone Commercial

“Last Rites,” from Megadeth’s seminal 1985 debut Killing is My Business… and Business is Good!, has popped up in a new ad for the iPhone XS. The ad is meant to spotlight the quality of the phone’s camera and its ability to capture nature, be it a beautiful or intense moment. So I assume the song was chosen because of the way it contrasts classical piano with speed metal.

Or maybe it’s just because someone at Apple really likes metal. I dunno.
