Yo long time metal fan here. Ive been to lots of heavy heavy bands: Sepultura, Slayer, Korn, Slipknot, SOAD, Prophets of Rage, Enter Shikari 3 times just to name a few
My point being that Im far from an inexperienced mosher or whatevver. Im going to see KL next month in Glasgow and im wondering,like is there going to be any regular moshing? HC dancing or crowdkilling whatever you want to call it is pretty much the stupidest shit ive ever seen as far as im concerned. Ive never felt unsafe during any mosh pit no matter how intense they are (again ive been to countless metal gigs) but i definitely dont like the idea of straight up being attacked by stupid angsty jocks.
I posted this in the hardcore subreddit too by the way. Just wanted to get the opinion of some regular old metalheads lol
Im from Dublin and I think that this sort of carry on is usually kept to gigs overseas in the states. What do you think? Will I be able to avoid getting kicked in the face? Will there be regular old moshing? Is Crowdkilling strictly an american thing? What do you think of hardcore dancing?
