Does metal have a special place in your heart? If so, why?

My best friend in 6th grade was fun, caring, and always making me laugh. I miss him everyday and wonder how he is doing. It’s almost like he fell off the face of the earth. I met him at 6th grade orientation, on some crazy stuff. Couple hours before I had watched a Loudwire video which had introduced me to a snip from an A7X song that I really liked. I showed up at the school, and he was there, wearing an A7X shirt! I complimented him and we had became better friends throughout the year. We listened to Slipknot and other bands that were really awesome. Metal really brought us together as best buds. I miss him.
