What This Is
Sort of like Reddit's Secret Santa but just within our community. You sign up and give away your email address and then you get an email address back. You then have a little over 3 weeks to find a digital gift and send it to them.
How much is this really going to cost me?
Digital Tier ONLY = ~10 USD or your country equivalent
How Will We Know What TO Get Them?
That is sort of the fun of Secret Santa. You obviously do not want to buy them a vinyl that they already have but you also don't want to give them 10$ gift card to Amazon because why not just keep the money and not shop on Amazon because their music selection blows.
You will be getting valuable clues including Bandcamp/Last.fm/Discog information to help you make your choice and if you do not...well...that Mushroomhead CD is looking better and better. This is important you give hints because the less hints is the less complaining you get to do. If you are the type of person who hates surprises, just give over a wishlist and people will buy the thing for you.
What Sort of Information do I have to fork over?
An email address where your album download can be sent.
Will The Person Who I am Getting Also Be Getting Me?
No, not unless there are only two people who sign up for this.
Will the other person be a regular?
Most likely. They at least have to have a reddit account and will most likely be a lurker. Traditionally if you jumped in at the beginning, you got paired with other r/metal regulars and then lurkers, and then midwestern families who drive station wagons.

What happens if my Secret Satan doesn't send me a gift?
Ill ban the user and send you a dungeon synth album. Also we will have a toy drive for any user who was left without a gift.
When do we get our Secret Partners?
This thread will stay up until the 7th of December and then the following Sday (Tuesday December 8th,) youll get your partners. Gifts should be sent during the month of December so we will say that if you receive it before New Years, then it is within the realm of reason.

What about the Physical tier...where is that?
In the past we had an unofficial physical thread where people could sign up to be partnered and send a gift. We are going to do that next year as we did not feel really comfortable with the state of the world and sending things to people via mail.
