OZZY OSBOURNE Says RANDY RHOADS Was The “First Guy” In His Life To Give Him “Hope”

There have been a lot of announcements and clips of series and documentaries circling the internet since Ozzy Osbourne's passing in July of this year. First, Paramount+ was to debut a documentary surrounding Ozzy's health issues in his final years, titled Ozzy Osbourne: No Escape From Now. Then, BBC was to show the final chapter of Ozzy's life in a documentary titled Ozzy Osbourne: Coming Home, which included footage from his preparations to Back To The Beginning, until it was abruptly pulled due to Sharon Osbourne's wishes to not rush the rollout of these series, and to give them time.

Now, Hulu has announced an 8-part docuseries titled, Into The Void, which looks at the heavy metal scene and the most influential people that have been a part of its history. Each episode is dedicated to a specific influential figure.

Part of the trailer that Hulu released in anticipation of the first episode of Into The Void, available on Monday, September 22nd, contains pieces of footage related to the first episode. The first episode is dedicated to Randy Rhoads, including archival footage of the late Ozzy Osbourne speaking about Rhoads and the impact he had on Ozzy's life before Rhoads died in a tragic plane crash in 1982.

The clips are short and sweet in the trailer, with both Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne sharing their sentiments.

Sharon starts by saying that, "Randy was a gift from God. He pulled the best out of Ozzy."

Ozzy himself went on to say that, "He was the first guy that came into my life and gave me hope."

The docuseries will be available exclusively on Hulu, and will have eight episodes. You can check out the lineup below:

6. Episode 6: Confess — Iranian teenagers facing a death sentence for blasphemy, fleeing for their lives to keep making thrash.
7. Episode 7: Ann Boleyn (Hellion) — A pioneering woman in metal confronting misogyny and later transforming into a legal advocate.
8. Episode 8: Pantera’s Dimebag Darrell — The shocking onstage murder that fractured friendships and shook metal to its core.
